Más cerca aún! Ironman en Mallorca en 2011?!?!?

Leyendo la web de Ironman, cosa muy recomendable, he encontrado la noticia de que en 2011 se hará el primer medio IronMan en Mallorca, en la ciudad de Alcudia. Está previsto para el 14 de Mayo 2011 o sea que las temperaturas serán ideales. Ojalá sea el previo a un IronMan completo. Me haría mucha ilusión poder hacerlo ya que tengo un recuerdo impresionante del Ultra Trail Serra de Tramontana que hicimos en Mallorca el pasado mes de Abril. El tiempo dirá!!

Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3 Mallorca

On May 14, 2011 the inaugural Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3 Mallorca will take place on the island of Mallorca. The Spanish island, known as a training paradise to many cyclists and triathletes, will host a qualifying race for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship for the first time. The host city of Alcudia is located in the north of the island and offers ideal conditions for the race.

It will be the first race of the European IRONMAN 70.3 race season, where athletes can test their form in mild temperatures.
